PARKINSON AWARDED CENTRE OF EXPERTISE IN MANUFACTURING STATUS BY DTI |

Hatton Parkinson Associates have become one of
the first companies in the UK to be registered with the DTI MAS as a
Centre of Expertise in Manufacturing (CEM).
Following a stringent assessment process undertaken by the DTI's
Manufacturing Advisory Ser vice (MAS) Hatton Parkinson were awarded
the status in recognition of their expertise and experience in the
field of manufacturing consultancy.
MAS was officially
launched on 12th April 2002 as an "innovative service that will
provide manufacturers in England and Wales with vital practical
hands on support" The support will be delivered through 9
Regional Centres of Manufacturing Excellence (RCMEs) to be
established across the region as well as through the MAS website http://www.mas.dti.gov.uk/
. These will
manage the enquiry flow and provide initial advice. Further
specialist advice will be available from companies like Hatton
Parkinson Associates and others from the CEM network.
These include many prestigious universities, trade bodies, Industry
fora and research bodies.
